Wilson said that the college never really considered canceling classes. "I can't recall any time when we didn't have classes. We have a tradition at Wake Forest of not canceling classes, mainly because most of our students are residents on campus;• he said. "There are enough faculty who live nearby so that we · may generally hold classes without difficulty.
